Hello guys, here is my work. It was a very long sleepless night here in Germany with some difficulties. On the other hand I couldn’t even upload the track to Soundcloud due to copyright reasons. After the third try it worked. The e-mail was sent before 11:59 LA time with mp3, unfortunately without a link. I hope this works.

Thanks and greetings to everyone from Stuttgart. I need 24 hours of sleep now

Yeah, so I see we are all on the same boat with finishing the remix for the very last moment. I like the overall separation and punch from the kick. Good job with reproducing the atmosphere of the 90ties.

Thank you. Yes, it was a real trip this mix… In the end I went out of my “master” chain back into the mix to pull the hihat down 0.1 db. I re-exported but I forgot to turn off my mixbus compressor… it was way after midnight here in Germany and I was done but suddenly nothing was right. So I made a completely new “master chain”, couldn’t get it to work after hours, only to end up realizing that I had to bypass my mixbus compressor. Of course I didn’t save the old master chain… so new again. Hours later…Maybe I lost that 2% to 4 % agression or punch with the new “master” chain but in the end it was very tight with deadline.
I actually wanted to sleep but the 5 liters of coffee I drank this night won’t let me.
I’ll listen to your mix as soon as I can think normally again…haha

I feel you about the time. I totally forgot to check my mix on headphones again before submitting and messed up the bass panning. 😅
Your guitars sound awesome, really crisp and punchy. 👍

Danke und Grüße nach Frankfurt. Ich versuche dein Mix zu finden.

The guitars are a combination of API Lindell 50 channel saturation, 5k boost but automated, it goes up and down through the mix, then in acustica big ceil.(focusrite Emulation) again preamp saturation and boost at about 1200 hz. Before that a lot of work at exactly 130 hz. dip, dyn eq etc.

Tight mix Denis! Definitely 90s vibes – the EQing is great. If I was going to nitpick, the vocal is a little dry in places so it feels a bit stuck on and maybe the bass guitar could growl a bit more. One of the most solid mixes so far – Viel Glück mein Freund!
