    Hi there mamas and PLAPAs,
    

    I hereby enter my first mix competition… ever.
    I’m a newbie at mixing and have only been at it for about 2 months since joining PLAPA ultimo November. Death Metal is not something I ever listen to but it’s been a real fun challenge for sure!
    
Mix is done on a set of Beyerdynamics DT 900 Pro X open backs. Still getting used to them.

    Reason for entering is obviously not to win (I know I don’t stand a chance) but first of all to say hello to all you great people – though most importantly to document my own progress.

    Nice mix, a bit of rumbly in the low mids, but a nice warmth.

    Very appreciated guys. I know. I find that low mids are my nemesis.
    I seem to be taking out too much of it, when moving through the tracks. Then compensating.
