    This was an awesome song and production to mix. But that doesn’t mean there weren’t significant challenges to overcome with masking. Best of luck everyone!

    I intentionally enhanced the performance, because it was so great. Besides a lot of automation and fader riding I also sampled the overhead room to capture a snare drum in a break, and I loaded that as an IR into a reverb and used it on most instruments to place them into the same room. The extra non-convolution longer reverbs should have given it depth.
