Decided to go for a bit more ‘naturale’ type of modern metal mix. Used a bit of additional sound design for enhancement such as drops made from orchestral timpani and non-tuned percussion, subtly.
Toms were the most difficult, almost thought of replacing them but was running out of time.
Spent most of the time doing automation and comparing parallel processing volume levels.I like the idea to use that intropart. Very well balanced mix. Good luck and cheers 🍻🤘
Hey thanks! Been listening to a few of the entries, and to your mix now, very artistic to say the least :)
Will listen to the other contestants more in the next few daysVery nice! I loved the intro, super cool. Well done, and good luck! If you got a second, check out my mix. Always looking for feedback.
Love the intro, very cool idea. Mix is solid, sounds great! Nice delay/reverb on the vocals.
sounds decent and very spacious) good mixing
Cool mix but the kick gets lost a bit and vox reverb (and maybe just vox in general) seems to be overpowering the mix.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Yeah, I tend to keep the vox’s volume a bit louder than the rest just for safety, because of the vocals intelligibility in other listening devices etc..
Re-listening it there’s a few more things that could be done to improve this mix regarding automation and side-chaining. Thank you for commenting.Very nice Mix!
