    Hey Marco! Thanks for submitting your mix! I’d like to point out a few things.

    The mix sounds a bit too compressed to my taste. The kick is louder than the rest of the kit which makes it feel a little unbalanced. Actually, I thing your mix needs a bit more balancing overall. To me, all the elements are fighting for space .

    Nice guitar skills! I liked the lower octave double at the end of the solo.

    Keep it up, man!

    I tried to give it a rock feeling, I guess why there´s some compression going on.
    The kick is too loud? Damnit! In my listening place it seemed to sit quite good, I guess we´re all not working in perfect rooms.

    I like the sound of your guitar solo btw! True country sound!

    Quite powerful mix, but I hear some issues/drop-outs (e.q. 0:42). I hope it’s only in my browser or on soundcloud, not in your submitted mix?!

    I’ll have a close listen later. Tbh I didn’t notice that before.
    Any opinion on the overall sound?
    It’s not quite my genre, and I’m just a hobby mixing guy, but I really like mixing other things. Good way to improve and honest opinions are very welcome.

    Nice solo! I like the sound of the kick beater and how it interacts with the lead vocal.
