It’s been a wonderful experience getting to know what it means to sound ‘professional’ in terms of recording.

To briefly explain the song, I tried to approach it from the perspective of a mix engineer and co-producer as much as possible.

The essence of the revised mix done by me was to highlight the details of the song and preserve the character of the vocal as much as possible, without clouding the essence of the writers’ original intention. I also tried to keep at least one focal point for every part of the song. And to enhance the emotion in the chorus part, I added a few more backing vocals.

I make music in a country where the sharing of experiences and knowledge about mixing is limited. Therefore, I am not sure if I am going in the right direction. Through this competition, I would like to hear feedback on whether my mix is heading in the right direction.
