Heres is my world champion entry, i hope u Enjoy it. Cheers from Argentina.
Thanks man.. i try to work in a most modern way, maybe this mix not have this 90s essentials..
The right guitar almost sounds like a guitar without an IR one (so basically like a RAW amp signal). Otherwise, it’s kinda scooped and get’s lost a touch
I guess it depends on what it’s compared to, if it’s compared to the raw track it’s definitely very sharp, if it’s with some kind of sound from professional records it’s not really, in fact if you listen to the classic 90’s death metal records you can hear even more scooped guitars. but criticism is always appreciated, thank you very much and I will try to continue improving, without a doubt I will take your comments into account.
Nice job Andres, kick and snare sound brutal together, maybe abit more of the original snare could have been blended in.
The guitar break at end sounded great, sounded like you applied a some lofi filter there.snare tone suits the song really well, maybe you could’ve brought out more of the ring from the original or the sample you used. never been a fan of super-triggered kicks but that’s just me. mix works as a super scooped 90s mix
Nice job!
Yes that’s true, I try to get an other approach to snare, but whit more of the original I get a more natural dynamic.
Thanks man, that was the idea, get some scooped 90s mix, like penetralia of hypocrisy, a mix can you hear now and sound not to outdated but whit this 90s impronta.
Thanks, yes I dial the eq a lot, but i like it, so no rules to mix, even you do wherever you like to get the result what you think.
Solid Mix! Kick snare bass really work well together. Maybe the voice could be a bit more forward, sounds burried sometimes
