    Apparently I’m (AFAIK) the only one so far who went for a real old school sound, I’m listening to all this modern sounding mixes, guitar tones with all the mids cranked…
    Well, everyone has it’s own taste I guess, but with a ’90s death metal song I couldn’t help but go old school!

    In the meantime I’ve done a “modern” sounding mix, I already know people will like this one better, but still for this song I’m totally with the old school approach, plus I’ve already sent that as my entry, so this one’s just for fun and for the sake of doing it…anyway, here you have the modern version:

    I actually like some aspects of the old school sounding mix better. Maybe the guitars? The modern version sounds amazing but for the song and vibe I like the old sound better but that’s just me, good fucking job!
