    Not my usual style of music, interesting to dive in something new and experiment a bit.

    Tried to just work with what was given and keep it raw & dirty.

    Really good mix! Personally I would say the drums sound nice and overall the levels are balanced. Really only the guitars could be a bit more aggressive/less sizzly and less roomy.

    Thanks! I totally agree actually, which is a shame as i turned down the upper mids of the guitars right at the end.

    I’ve heard like 20 of these mixes now and this is legit my favorite so far. These vocals have extra evil sauce on them I’d be interested to know how it’s made.

    Thanks a lot! Actually not super much but i sent it out through my hardware warm audio La-2a and 1176. With the 1176 being used almost as a limiter catching the peaks but driven hard to saturate the vocals. Then i just carved out some low mids and boosted some upper mids to bring out some more aggression and bring it forward in the mix.
