    I would say you have a bright future ahead if this is your first finished mix.
    Your mix is coherent and in excellent support of the song. Your instruments all sound well defined and easy to listen to. Placements are also very good and in support of the performance and keeping the listener engaged. My only issue is the level of the ensemble against the vocal coming out of the break. I think you could have been more aggressive with the dynamics there as the song has a climax there.

    One question for you. What is it about your mix, you aren’t happy with?

    Thank you very much for your answer! Yes, you’re probably right, the vocals could have been a bit more expressive in the final chorus.

    Otherwise, overall I’m satisfied with the mix, it doesn’t sound bad compared to other mixes (some mixes were made by professionals!)
    I’m not happy with Kick drum, Toms (replace?) and better music production (for which there was no time…).

    To me, that’s a really good mix and stands up well against the competition on here. Great separation of instruments but still ‘glued’ overall. Vocals really clear but not too loud. Congrats and good luck!
    I’m fairly new to mixing so went for a remix in a different style instead.
