    In Reaper, the shine quickly becomes unpleasant, and you have to pay a lot of attention to it. Reaper also quickly gives you a bump at 200Hz, which you have to manage without draining energy.

    The topic of sound differences among daws is a closed area for discussion, and there are numerous scientific studies on this subject. These studies prove that there is no sound difference among daws. Perhaps there could be a placebo effect related to monitors in your case. Personally, I calibrate the headphones I use according to the Harman target. There are excellent programs for this, and I recommend them to you as well.
