    I have tried to stay true to the overall feel of the original mix while trying to make it sound a little more rock(ish) without going completely overboard……

    Despite being a country song, I think it is supposed to be rock-ish too. I like how you pushed in that direction. Good luck!

    Good mix overall
    The only thing that disturb me is that snare crackle that a little too bright (somewhere in the 2k area)

    That must be the snare bottom you are talking about…. As a drummer it tends to be a pet peeve that I am destined to drag around…But I will look into it:-)
