    Hi, I’m Markus. This is my production of Lianne’s song Glow. Produced in my home studio. Every version I’ve heard here is pretty incredible! Lots of talented producers. Best of luck to everyone!

    You had a lot of good ideas! What confuses me is that you made a “monoish”-like mix: The accoustic guitars are both in the middle, and the drumset also sounds only mono, when the rest of your added instrumentation and the reverb makes use of the stereo panorama. The audience has two ears, so use them! It will make your mix sound “bigger” and “wider”… (no offence meant, just as a hint)

    Thanks Jens, yeah i was concerned with the translation so I used a slightly more mono version for the YouTube upload.
    The track I sent to support@ratemymix.com has more of a stereo spread. Good ear!
    Also listened to yours and I love how you used the different layers of organ. Sounds great! Gives me a Steve Winwood vibe!
